Natalie and Cole’s wedding day was sweet for many reasons. For one, it was our first time at the beautiful venue that is The Arlo. Second, this wasn’t the first wedding we’ve done for this family. I have done four weddings between Natalie, her sister Meredith and her two sisters-in-law. The best thing about this family? They put so much trust in me for their days and I truly got to make magic happen for each of them.
One added bonus of this wedding – they had the piano player from the piano bar, The Tap, in College station as their band. I was so obsessed with this touch and it brought me right back to college.
Our First Time at The Arlo
This was our first time at The Arlo, and most definitely not our last. To say we are obsessed with the space is definitely an understatement. It has so many options for us to add florals and truly customize the space for our couples.
Unique Places to Add Wedding Florals
One of my favorite things about The Arlo is that there isn’t a shortage of spaces to add florals installations to. We did those that you often see along the aisle and on the reception tables, but we also were able to do a few you don’t typically see.
In the cake corner, we add smilax and candles to the tiers. It was the perfect backdrop for the 4 tier cake that was adorned in pink and maroon flowers.
In the cocktail hour area, we add florals to both the beautiful trees and the stunning fireplace guests could gather around. This fireplace install was what our floral dreams are made of and we were so happy something like this fit in the budget!
Lastly, throughout the reception space, there was no shortage of stunning florals throughout the decor. We finished the space off with smilax hanging from the iron chandeliers. While a small touch, it truly made the space feel ‘finished’.
